Training Institute for Chemical Industries (TICI) has established by BCIC in 1989 with a goal to create industry based skilled manpower to fulfill the demand of BCIC as well as other industrial organizations. TICI has been performing its duties from the very beginning with sincerity and it has attained the recognition both at home and abroad.

The faculty members of this institute have been posted by BCIC selecting from its different industries having high academic background, skill and efficiency. Efforts have been taken to increase their capability through local and foreign trainings. Thus they can impart effective training in one hand and have the ability to provide specialized technical services to BCIC industries and other industrial enterprises also.

Many overseas employers are likely to prefer those candidates having TICI training. Besides industrial field, students from public and private universities are availing the facilities of TICI for their improvement of competence. Professors of Universities, entrepreneurs, technologist and dignitaries of the country often visit TICI and exchange their views and ideas relating to technological aspects of industrial sectors.

TICI also extends technical service assistance in small, medium and heavy industries mitigating the technical problems. It has acclaimed in the country as center of excellence in technical training fields. We express our heartfelt gratitude to all who have contributed directly or indirectly in establishing this training institute.

I remember with great honor for commendable contribution of the board of directors, specially the Chairman of the Board of Directors and Director in Charge of TICI for their valuable guidance and continuous suggestions for the smooth running of the institute.

I take this opportunity to express my heartiest thanks and gratitude to the in-house members of TICI, whose ceaseless effort and devotion have brought the institute at this present stage.
